Choosing the right recliner chair is important. It can make all the difference to your everyday life.
But like most things, there’s so much choice and so many options that finding the right one can quickly turn into a headache.
Even the guides designed to help become confusing. Which is where we come in. No bells and whistles here, just the stuff worth knowing, and not much else.
Electric recliners use a motor and usually have a TV style remote or buttons on the side to help you recline.
Manual recliners have a hand lever to help you recline and don’t require electricity to work.
Riser Recliners – As the name suggests, these chairs not only recline, but they also lift and tilt to help you to your feet when you’re ready to stand
Recliners – Everything the rise recliner does. Without the rise bit. (Not everybody needs help getting to their feet)
These are the two main types.
A single motor means that the backrest and footrest move at the same time. As you recline, your feet are also raised
A dual motor rise recliner has independent motors for the backrest and footrest. Choose to recline. Choose to raise your feet. Or both
To give you more of an idea, here’s our Burlington Dual Motor Riser Recliner Chair in action:
