1) Mother Shipton's Cave - Knaresborough

A classic amongst the Yorkshire locals, Mother Shipton's Cave is transforming itself into an Eggcelent wonderland this Easter. The kids will be able to hop down the Bunny Door Trail and look out for giant eggs, with cracking photo opportunities and fascinating Easter scenes throughout the beautiful woodland. If you get a little peckish on the walk around, there are lovely spots to stop for a picnic and a bite to eat, whilst soaking up the scenery.


The event is on every day from Saturday 2nd April, to Sunday 24th April and open 10am to 5.30pm (last admission 4pm) - booking is essential, so don’t miss out!

2) Burton Agnes Hall & Gardens - Driffield

Burton Agnes Hall & Gardens - Driffield

Burton Agnes Hall in Yorkshire, known for its beautiful gardens and historic culture, is inviting children this Easter to attend their Easter egg trail with a difference. You’ll explore the gardens whilst searching for clues, but make sure you have your thinking caps on, as you need to solve the conundrum to take home the treats! Afterwards, the kids can let off some steam at the park, while you sit back and relax with a nice brew or a cup of coffee… you might need it!

 

The event is running from 9th April to the 24th April. Adults are £9.00, Children (4-15 years) £6.50, and Under 4's go FREE!

3) Worth Valley Railway - Keighley

Fancy something a little different? Worthy Valley Railway 'Easter Express' is not one to be missed. Hop aboard this Easter for a unique train journey, with fun Easter characters and excellent scenery!

There’s plenty to keep you busy at the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, whatever the weather.

A true family favourite. Would it be a top 5 without Stockeld Park?…of course not. With events running all year, it's definitely worth the trip over for their famous Easter Adventure. Whether it’s meeting the Easter Bunny himself, taking the kids on the Rainbow Bunny Hunt or admiring the giant eggs, you certainly aren’t short for choice. Add that little bit ’eggstra’, with a trip to the cafe for a hot chocolate or a few choccy treats to finish.

5) Piglets Adventure Farm

On your marks, get set, GO!.. Your little hunters can join in with Piglets Farms Easter Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt.
